Employee portal for an accounting and advisory firm

An internal web portal that brings tasks, deadlines, time entry and compliance reporting from the firm’s practice management system and Altinn into one place, designed to match the firm’s main product.

• Project margin report: revenue, cost, hourly rate and contribution margin per project — grouped by invoicing period, accumulated or year over year, and broken down by person, role and activity in custom charts.
• Altinn compliance report: per-client overview of statutory filings (payroll reporting, VAT and tax returns) with deadlines, review flags and links to the underlying tasks. Handles deviations with follow-up text and attachments, and checks each client’s setup. Rolled out from beta to all employees.
• Time entry and task handling: logging hours and closing tasks directly from the calendar and a weekly review board, with role selection and rules for locked periods.
• Redesign: moved the app onto the company’s design system, with a new app shell, navigation and shared UI components.
• Safe integration: every write to the external system is authorised on the server against the user’s project roles and audit-logged with undo. Features roll out gradually behind feature flags.
